Dr. Felicia Dickson Pierre, DPM,FACFAS
Dr. Dickson Pierre is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and has more than 20 years of clinical experience and training including a multi-year surgical residency in the lower extremity. Dr. Dickson Pierre who is originally from Stamford, Connecticut received her B.A. in Biology from Temple University. She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 1996, from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating with honors as the class Salutatorian.
Dr. Dickson Pierre went on to complete her Podiatric Surgical Residency at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut and is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Wound Care.
Dr. Dickson Pierre has been in private surgical practice since 1998 when she relocated to the Atlanta area after completing her residency. She was previously a Senior Partner with Village Podiatry Centers for more than 17 years. She transitioned from Village Podiatry to joint Georgia Podiatry Group in the Fall of 2015, and while she wishes both groups continued prosperity she had the desire to venture out on her own. Optimum Foot and Ankle Centers, LLC is the fruit of her labors created to provide "Premier Foot and Ankle Care" to the Stone Mountain/Lilburn area and surrounding communities.
Her special interests include Forefoot and Reconstructive Surgery, Diabetic Limb Salvage, and Wound Care. Dr. Dickson Pierre is a surgical instructor for the Podiatric residents at the Atlanta Center for Foot and Ankle Surgery, as well as Dekalb Medical Center.
Dr. Dickson Pierre is also a 32 year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and is currently a active member in the Lambda Epsilon Omega Chapter which is located in Dekalb County.
